The Tamron 50-300mm f/4.5-6.3 Di III VC VXD Lens for Sony E full-frame mirrorless cameras is a versatile 6x telephoto zoom lens that starts at 50mm, offering added flexibility compared to conventional 70-300mm zooms. Despite its extensive zoom range of up to 300mm, it maintains a compact size of just 150mm in length and a lightweight design of 665g, making it highly portable and balanced even on APS-C cameras.

Features a VXD linear motor focus mechanism for quiet, fast, and precise autofocus, and a VC (Vibration Compensation) system to stabilise images, especially useful in telephoto and low-light conditions. It includes advanced optical elements, such as XLD and LD lenses, and BBAR-G2 coating to minimise aberrations and flare, ensuring high image quality throughout the zoom range. The 50mm wide end offers an impressive MOD of 0.22m for half-macro shooting with a 1:2 magnification ratio.
