Precise autofocus

The newly developed linear motor “HLA (High-response Linear Actuator)” delivers unprecedentedly fast and precise autofocusing. In addition, the newly developed algorithm “OS2” enables image stabilisation of 7 stops at the wide end and 6 stops at the telephoto end. 

Incredible zoom range

60-600mm is a wide focal range to cover everything for full-frame cameras. This allows you to capture scenes from close-ups to long-distance shots without changing lenses, even in difficult situations such as air shows or professional sports events.

APS-C suitable

Wide-ranging super-telephoto zoom is designed for full-frame Leica L-mount cameras but is also suitable for APS-C models where it provides a 90-900mm equivalent focal length range.

Optical design

Three Special Low Dispersion (SLD) elements and two F Low Dispersion (FLD) elements are featured in the optical design and help to reduce colour fringing and chromatic aberrations for improved clarity and colour accuracy, as well as spherical aberrations for reduced distortion and improved sharpness throughout the zoom range.

Weather resistant

Designed with the elements in mind, Sigma has made this lens with a Dust and Splash Resistant Structure. 

Water and oil-repellent coating (front element)

This coating allows water to be wiped away easily and prevents oil and fat from sticking to the surface, even in challenging shooting conditions. At the same time, the maintenance of the lens surface becomes more manageable.
