Please review your camera’s manual to learn how to expose the sensor. Ensure your camera battery is fully charged before proceeding, and that any loose dust or dirt has been safely removed using a blower or brush. After reviewing the manual and watching our video demonstration, you will be ready to clean your sensor.Â
Using one side of the swab, firmly drag it across the sensor. Then, repeat in the opposite direction using the clean side. Discard the swab after use. If necessary, repeat the process with a new swab. Once done, release the camera shutter and replace the lens. Do not remove the swab from its plastic bag until you are ready to use it. Dirt on the swab can scratch the sensor, so always keep it sealed until use and discard it immediately after.Â
Note: The use of zoom lenses or bellows can increase the number of contaminants inside the sensor area, which may require more frequent cleaning. When used as directed, Sensor Swab® ULTRA is safe, easy to use, and delivers excellent results.Â
