Great Lens

For Nikon Z mount users needing the 70-200mm focal range, this is the way to go. Silent and Fast Autofocus, optically sharp, great colour retention, and works well with the 1.4 Z TC. Very good at f/2.8 wide open. VR depends on the camera you use, however, this is very good on my Z6II.

Designed for Optical Perfection

On good authority I have it that you have to start with a disclaimer - so I am not paid by Nikon, nor am I a Nikon Ambassador (although I see myself as a non-official one) ???? This lens is made for the Z system, and being the native lens it excels in every aspect from being super sharp edge to edge, so silent when focusing that you actually have to check that it is working, accurate and quick focus. And the bokeh - Oh my word!!!! I used to own the Nikon Z 70-200mm f2.8 VR which was my go-to lens, and this lens has exceeded my expectations. Well worth the close to 12 month's wait!
With the combined body and lens stabilisation, I shoot comfortably handheld at 1/30s.
If you own a Z camera - this is a great investment!
