Great Birding Lens

I was a bit sceptical about this lens at first, but I was blown away by the image quality. It works well as a second lens to my 100-400 Mk2. On my R7 it gives me incredible reach and makes the use of teleconverters on the 100-400mm lens unnecessary. It's a great buy at the price.

Image quality and reach at a good price.

Superb image quality, coupled with amazingly lightweight and comfortable size make this an excellent choice for bird photographers seeking the reach of an 800mm lens. Not to mention the amazing price for this focal length. F11 is a slight disadvantage when the light is low, but the rest of the experience really made this a worthwhile purchase for myself.
