Picture quality remains sharp.

I was a bit sceptical of the loss of 2 F-Stops before using the lens extender, but after seeing the results for outdoor and sports photography, I was super happy for what the extender could do, for the price of what it is. I added it on to an L-Series 70-200 lens and it worked a treat, and gave substantial zoom without any loss of quality or picture sharpness. It was relatively easy to compensate for the loss of the F-Stops with shutter speed, and ISO if needed, but bottom line is that its super cool to have this little additional in your camera bag when needed, as it can be added & removed with ease. I would recommend to anyone shooting outdoors.
