New Colourways

Trent 2.0 is available in two stunning colourways – Metallic Slate Grey – a firm favourite with wildlife photographers, and a new Metallic Blue version, as seen on the Punks 2.0 tripods.

New Chicken Lips (shims)

Internally, the locks on Trent 2.0 have been re-engineered with a new design of anti-rotation Chicken Lips (shims). This gives Trent 2.0 improved strength and incredible rigidity.

New Design Leg Locks

Trent 2.0 features legs locks with the same fierce look, that the other Punks 2.0 tripods now boast, a combination of knurling and rubber pads increases grip and leverage. These locks are easy to use even in damp conditions or when wearing gloves.

Trent 2.0’s full extended height reaches over the dizzying height of 2 metres / 6.5 ft tall at full extension.  Capable of lateral loads as well as vertical, Trent 2.0 makes an awesome boom for cameras or microphones.

Constructed and precision engineered from aircraft-grade magnesium alloy and supporting weights of almost 50 times his own weight. With a 30 kg / 65 lb payload, Trent 2.0 is like a rock.

Duality

Trent 2.0’s versatility comes from dual threads at both ends. At the top, a spring-loaded combination screw thread enables the 3/8"-16 thread to retract below the 1/4"-20 thread encased within. At the foot is a 3/8"-16 thread, with a 1/4"-20 adapter sleeve which enables compatibility with a variety of tripod footwear and with the Docz stabiliser.

Ultra-Light

Only slightly heavier than the Professional Carbon equivalent, Trent 2.0 is a real contender for the optimum build.

Versatile

Thanks to Trent 2.0’s unique construction, and standard thread sizes, he can also be used as a microphone or camera boom.

We’ve given our leg locks a facelift. With a fierce new look, they boast improved grip and leverage due to a combination of rubber pads and knurling. We've added weight to our leg locks lowering their centre of gravity which makes the tripod more stable to allow use in a multitude of conditions.
